Top Ten Most Anticipated PAX Games
It’s that time of the year again, where gamers and press converge upon the city of Seattle for PAX 2007 to play a gamut of games, take each other on in tournaments, and catch concerts by artists like Freezepop and Optimus Rhyme. I’ve compiled a list of games that I’m looking most forward to getting my hands on at this year’s PAX, and I would advise anyone to give them a look.

 

Rock Band
The one thing that I’m most excited for at PAX is sitting down for some hands-on time with Rock Band. I’ve seen the videos on Youtube, read the press releases announcing tons of master tracks (and full purchasable albums), even saw Peter Moore completely butcher the bass line from The Hives’ “Main Offender” (ironic, since I’d say his performance was pretty offensive; just kidding) at the Microsoft Press Conference at E3. Unfortunately, I have yet to sit down with the game and check out the awesome drum peripheral and so on. So, hopefully I’ll be able to get my grubby hands on the game, assuming the droves of people with the same idea don’t mosh me right out of the room.
